John Clark


John’s experience spans over several decades helping people respond to challenges in their lives. 
He has done this as a therapist, a conciliator and a mediator.  He has worked with individuals, couples, families and groups who have wanted change in their lives.  John’s experience is from working in such settings as family and couple relationships, foster care, individuals and families in crisis, loss and grief, addictions, suicidality and workplace (industrial) relations.  John is an academic teacher at the Australian College of Applied Psychology where he teaches and mentors undergraduate and postgraduate students in counselling and psychotherapy.
John holds a Master of Counselling Degree, a Graduate Certificate in Counselling, a Diploma of Health Administration and numerous Certificates in counselling modalities.  He is registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (College of Counselling; Australian College of Counselling and Psychotherapy Educators; Mental Health Practitioner).
